Our
Vision
Access to Acupuncture CIC was established to create meaningful benefits across both the health and education sectors within our communities.
We make acupuncture more accessible by using our multibed community clinics to their full potential and developing specialised clinics through targeted funding. This ensures affordable, effective care for those who need it most, enhancing wellbeing and reducing health inequalities.
Alongside our clinical work, we’re dedicated to supporting the next generation of practitioners. By embedding education within our mission, we aim to attract bursary funding for students who may need additional support to train in acupuncture. This helps open doors for future health professionals and promotes greater diversity and inclusion within the field.
We also deliver training and educational outreach for healthcare professionals and charities — helping them understand the research and theory that underpin acupuncture’s benefits. This work builds bridges between traditional healthcare and complementary practice, fostering a more informed and collaborative approach to wellbeing.
Access to Acupuncture CIC is guided by a team of five directors who bring together experience in healthcare, business, and community development.

Three of our directors are qualified acupuncturists and members of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), overseeing the clinical and educational aspects of our work.

Our Financial Manager and Administrator ensure strong governance, transparency, and smooth operations across all projects.
Together, the team oversees three key areas:

Education and Training – delivering learning opportunities for healthcare professionals.

Student Bursaries – supporting those who need financial help to pursue acupuncture education.
